Today I made the acquaintance of Harry Potter’s successor – Percy Jackson. You can read my review (with spoilers) here. What I don’t mention there is the inconvenience of trying to go to a cinema right next to a packed football stadium. I may as well have parked my car in the next county. Next time I’ll take supplies for the hike.
It was also sad to see all of the posters for Alice in Wonderland removed, as part of the boycott by Vue and Odeon as a result of Disney bringing Alice’s DVD release nearer. The upside is that these have been replaced by Prince of Persia posters depicting Jake Gyllenhaal wielding swords and showing some arm.
